New niche for 3D printers in dentistry

Guns might squeeze a headlines, though 3D copy has other uses other than producing weapons. One expansion area for a record is digital dentistry, where dentists use 3D printers to furnish models, dentures, braces, and implants, while foregoing a slimey pastes and gels that are traditionally used to make them.

One of a beginning adopters of digital dentistry was 3D copy hulk Stratasys, that in 2012 joined with Israel’s Objet 3D, another vital manufacturer of 3D printers. Both companies had already grown printers geared to a dental market, and after a merger, Stratasys headquartered the digital dentistry
